Gary Occhiogrosso

Gary Occhiogrosso is the Managing Partner of Franchise Growth Solutions, a national franchise development and sales firm, where he leads the “Coach, Mentor & Grow Program” to support franchisors in franchise development, strategic planning, and raising growth capital. Recognized as one of the “Top 25 Fast Casual Restaurant Executives in the USA” by Fast Casual Magazine, he is also an adjunct instructor at NYU, teaching courses on Concept & Business Development and Franchising & Entrepreneurship. Gary began his career in business development and franchising in 1984 as a Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee and later opened Ralph’s Nut Pound, a gourmet confection and gift basket shop, helping develop 53 additional franchise units. He founded GPM Consulting Inc. in 1991, aiding the growth of brands like Blimpie Salad and Subs and Ranch*1, which he helped expand into a 60-restaurant chain. Gary also served as President & COO of Desert Moon Fresh Mexican Grille, leading its growth from a 4-unit startup to a 23-unit regional chain. He co-founded Franchise Money Maker.com, an educational franchise website, and maintains memberships in the International Franchise Association and the NYC Roundtable of Restaurant Professionals.
